Step-by-Step Makeover: Asian Skin

Asian women have some of the most beautiful skin in the world, so never try to change the colour. Asian women don't have a lot of darkness under their eyes, but concealer can still make a big difference and help to brighten the whole face. Spot any dark areas, even out your skin tone, and appreciate it!

Apply concealer under the eyes.

Set the concealer with pale yellow powder and also apply on the eyelid.

Even out the skin tone with a foundation in a colour that matches the skin. A lot of Asian girls are concerned that using foundation with yellow tones will make their skin look too yellow. Not too worry - yellow based foundation is the most natural looking, because it's the natural tone of the skin, not only for Asian skin but for everyone. It will match and enhance your complexion perfectly.

Any stubborn spots can be erased with the touch-up stick.

Dust bronzer all over the face and neck and fill in the brows using a powder shadow with an eyebrow brush.

When filling in your brows you also have to be conscious of the colour of the hair on your head – not just the colour of your brows – to get the most natural look.

Apply espresso gel liner right along the lash line with an ultrafine eyeliner brush. Make sure the line is thick enough to be visible when the eyes are open

Apply two or three coats of black mascara.

Add a pop of pinkish-rose blush on the cheeks with a fluffy round blush brush.

Press on a bit of natural colour lipstick to enhance the natural colour of the lips and you’re good to go!
